We go further, we decided that doing this project we have to include also living experience of the geographical distance by movements and find those shadows of history, present and future.
We created a plan! We travel through China by train and Finland by car. However - visiting also Kalevala Villages on the other side of the border in Russian side! And peeking from Utsjoki to Norway side just to say hello to Artic Sea.
Shortly to say: Let’s deconstruct those things what painting is all about!
Key words are deconstruction and reconstruction.
We gathered also some tools for the trip: courage, patient, sharing, wondering, openmindness, exchanging stories, freedom, breathing, understanding, finding, inspiring, appreciation and thankfulness. In other terms: discussing, proceeding, doing documentary filming, photographing, writing, inventing. Contact life, people and sceneries, ‘Eyes to Eyes’.
As we are painters we are going to work out also exhibition of this including painting. As doing everything ‘like taste of doing in mouth’ we decided also add a third part to our plan. Later we deliver the invitations of our exhibition through Russia to Beijing. Naturally by train.
What we find? - We don’t know.
What we know? - We are going to change as a person.
The goal is: - We don’t know yet but we shall
We must do the journeys.
Because we grow.
In real life.
As artists we have a responsibility to share all things we find with other peoples.
Maybe it´s good. Maybe it’s bad. Maybe it´s both.
Or something else.
